EU ePrivacy Directive

In accordance with the new EU ePrivacy Directive, Alfasoft would like to address how our website uses cookies, so that you can continue to enjoy our goods and services with confidence.

We use cookies in several ways:

1. When visitors register, we use cookies to store an ID which is unique to each person. This means users are logged in automatically each time they visit. This feature can be disabled by going to “Edit My Details” and removing the tick from the “Remember me on this machine” box. However, you will then be prompted to log in each time you visit certain pages.

2. Cookies are used to keep track of your shopping trolley when you visit our store, so that you can make online purchases. They also enable you to use our download centre, and to access our Live Chat facility for customer service and technical support.

3. Cookies allow us to analyse how visitors are using our site, and help us to ensure we deliver suitable content. Should you wish to disable cookies, you may do so by changing the Privacy settings in your browser options, though please keep in mind that doing this will also disable the aforementioned features on our site that make use of cookies.

4. It is also worth noting that third party vendors, including Google, display our ads on sites on the internet by way of cookies, which serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to our website.

Users may opt out of Google’s use of cookies by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page.
